It’s not always easy to know what you or your child needs. I offer a free, no-pressure 15 minute consultation to talk things through and help guide you towards the right support.

For younger children (typically age 5–7), an early learning profile provides insight into strengths and areas of need, specifically useful for those undergoing a dyslexia assessment. This profile helps guide the most effective next steps in learning support. You’ll receive a clear overview of your child’s learning profile, along with practical, tailored recommendations that you can begin using straight away. Many families find this brings clarity and reassurance.

A diagnostic dyslexia assessment explores a learner’s strengths, challenges and underlying learning profile to understand what may be affecting progress in reading, spelling, writing or wider learning.
At Dyslexia Support Surrey, assessments are child-centred, calm and supportive. The process includes background information from families and schools, one-to-one assessment tasks, careful analysis and a written report with clear, practical recommendations.
Assessments can help families and schools better understand a learner’s needs and identify targeted support to build confidence, independence and progress.
